Alexa Profile Pic

Alexa Bandala

Alexa Bandala is a digital artist, communications professional, and proud KidsFirst employee. She began this passion project at the beginning of 2021 when she first reached out to collaborate with Akshaj, a talented young author whose involvement with non-profits made this partnership a perfect fit. Alexa began to learn about art and illustrating digital paintings in 2020, and she hasn’t been able to put her tablet down to stop drawing since. Alexa joined KidsFirst’s team in August 2017. It has truly been the most rewarding experience. Within her time there, she has grown in her skills and experience as a communications professional. Through her work and public outreach, she has come to feel more connected to Placer County. She also has a deeper appreciation for all of the people, businesses, organizations, and agencies that make this community flourish. Alexa is a huge Broadway and musical theatre nerd, and has a fondness for singing showtunes (loudly) in her car. In her spare time, she enjoys singing and performing with her band “Velvet Verses,” playing with her three dogs, and spending time with her parents and younger sister.
