During this difficult time and with short notice, our community came together to bring Easter joy to local families in need. During our two day Easter Basket Drop on April 7 and 8, we received 150 basket donations– making a significant difference for 150 children this Easter.
“You have been a blessing,” said a KidsFirst client family member. “You answered my prayers during this tough time.”
We are filled with gratitude for all our amazing individual donors, and organization donors from the Placer County District Attorney’s Office, Chris Hagens from State Farm, and the Rocklin Optimist Club.
These are pressing times for many families and this gesture that may seem small, means so much.
“We are struggling. Between us, we had 5 jobs…now we have one”, said another KidsFirst client. “Thank you so much for this. It helps make this Easter a special one.”
