The Board of Directors of KidsFirst is tremendously excited to announce the hiring of our new CEO, Debbie Gabelich. The search committee spent several months looking for the right candidate and thoroughly vetting all prospects. After an exhaustive process, we feel that we found the perfect match!
Debbie comes to us with a long history of non-profit experience. She has a passion for the mission of KidsFirst and is excited to bring her skills and connections to our organization. Debbie is from Rocklin, CA so she is already a member of the Placer County community. As the coordinator of the Child Abuse Prevention Council, KidsFirst is on the front lines in "Prevention, Intervention, and Treatment" in Placer County. Debbie understands the vital services offered by KidsFirst and she has already shown to be the champion we desired when we chose to bring her on board.
Debbie began her tenure on January 1, 2023 and has hit the ground running. She is ready to grow and enhance the footprint of KidsFirst in Placer County. You will soon be seeing her out in the community, making connections, and giving our community partners more opportunities to support the mission of KidsFirst, which is to serve our families in Placer County.
