Kristin M. Kaminski's journey into estate planning law is underscored by a passion for empowering individuals and families to navigate the complexities of managing and transferring assets. As the managing attorney of the Kaminski Law Group, Kristin brings a wealth of expertise as a Specialist in Estate Planning, Trust & Probate Law certified by the State Bar of California. Her practice centers on crafting personalized estate plans that align with her clients' unique needs, ensuring their legacies are preserved and their loved ones are provided for.


Kristin's academic foundation was laid at Marquette University Law School in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where she excelled and earned Dean’s List honors. During her time there, she had the prestigious opportunity to intern with the U.S. Navy JAG Corps at Pearl Harbor, Hawai’i, an experience that deepened her commitment to legal service and dedication to meticulous preparation.


Before law school, Kristin earned her Bachelor of Arts in Business and Management with honors from Alverno College, a distinguished institution known for its strong emphasis on women’s leadership and academic excellence.


Beyond her legal practice, Kristin is deeply engaged in her community, serving as a founding member and past Chair of the Placer Women Lawyers Section of the Placer County Bar Association. Her leadership extends to her role as the past Vice President-Marketing of the South Placer Estate Planning Council as well as her new role as a member on the KidsFirst Board of Directors, where she continues to contribute her insights and guidance.


Kristin is also an active member of the Probate & Estate Planning Section of the Placer County Bar Association and has generously volunteered her time at the Sacramento Estate Planning Clinic, reflecting her commitment to making legal services accessible to underserved populations.


Recognized for her outstanding professional achievements, Kristin has been consistently selected as a Northern California Rising Star by Super Lawyers, an honor bestowed upon no more than 2.5 percent of attorneys in the state.


In her downtime, Kristin finds joy in exploring the natural beauty and cultural richness of Northern California alongside her husband and two children. Her adventurous spirit and dedication to her family mirror her approach to her legal practice—thoughtful, thorough, and always focused on creating lasting value.
