Listen up, Dads (and the women who love them)! Our next Forever Fathers is set to begin April 3. For 8 weeks, you will enjoy the comfort, support and camaraderie of other male caregivers. Whatever your circumstances – single dad, stepdad, grandfather – this group is open to all!
“Even under the best of circumstances, many men feel isolated, unsure of their role in raising their children and lack confidence in their parenting skills,” said KidsFirst program manager and Forever Fathers facilitator Mike Mason. “They start the program feeling lost and alone. But they leave the program feeling empowered, prepared and supported to take on their everyday rights and responsibilities as parents. It’s a true transformation,” he added.
“Forever Fathers was life changing for me,” stated a past program participant. “I now feel more confident in my parenting skills and I spend much more time with my children. I couldn’t ask for anything more.”
