On Friday, Sept. 20, Roseville Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) employees donated their time and creative skills to KidsFirst during their Global Day of Service! Each year, HPE employees get together on this day to make a positive difference in the world and their local communities. This year, HPE decided to support KidsFirst by creating affirmation rocks and handmade letters for our therapy clients!
HPE has about 1,300 employees on site and almost all employees were able to donate in some capacity. HPE Custom Services Manager Trish Parker-Palmer spearheaded the event and helped make it a huge success.
“We are happy to help those in Placer County and our community” said Parker-Palmer.
Additionally, HPE participated in our diaper drive and donated boxes and boxes of diapers to KidsFirst! Over 50 hours were spent working on this project and we are so thankful to have HPE’s support.
It’s been amazing to see how the affirmation rocks and cards really have had a positive impact on children and families going through hard times. Countless thanks to the HPE Roseville team!
