Dutch Bros Coffee Donates Over $3,300 from #BuckForKidsDay to KidsFirst
On Friday, September 18, Dutch Bros Coffee held its annual Buck for Kids Day. This year, KidsFirst was selected as the beneficiary of a portion of the funds raised at both Dutch Bros’ Roseville locations.
One dollar from every drink sold was collected for KidsFirst to benefit the children and families in our community. And WOW, over 3,300 drinks were purchased in a single day! We are so thankful for Dutch Bros’ support and truly appreciate those who visited their establishment to support KidsFirst on Buck for Kids Day.
Placer County Gifts KidsFirst a Placer Shares Grant
We are honored to announce that Placer County’s Board of Supervisors recently selected KidsFirst as a grant recipient in the Placer Shares Grant program!
With the current pandemic, new challenges for many families, and our main fundraiser being cancelled, these funds are needed now more than ever. Our critical work for our community can continue thanks to Placer County and Place Shares. We thank them!
The Placer Community Foundation Selects KidsFirst as a Grant Recipient from the Walter and Irmgard Schichtel Fund
With much gratitude, we are happy to announce that KidsFirst is a grant recipient for the Placer Community Foundation’s Walter and Irmgard Fund!
The endowed fund is managed by PCF in perpetuity, with grants made annually to serve the changing needs of underserved youth. We plan to utilize these funds for housing support and basic needs for families in need in Placer County.
