KidsFirst would like to introduce our new Associate Marriage Family Therapist, Sunum Jamall!

Sunum graduated from UC Davis with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and recently finished her Master of Science in Clinical Psychology from Notre Dame de Namur University.

While an undergrad, she worked as a research assistant at the UC Davis Memory and Development Lab assisting with research studies focused on brain and memory development in young children. Afterwards, she worked in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis with children on the autism spectrum and their families for four years in both school and home settings. Her pre-degree internship was as an elementary school counselor in Clinical Psychology.

We’re so happy to have Sunum on the KidsFirst team and we know her background in children’s psychology will enable her to thrive as our associate marriage family therapist.

When asked what she likes to do in her free time, she replied, “I enjoy going to the beach, taking walks and traveling.”
